Madison Trinity Church Memorial Day celebration to feature divers Madison Trinity Church (GPS: 13480 OH-45, Lisbon OH 44432) will host a Memorial Day celebration Saturday in honor of those who serve, including two local divers, guest speaker and veteran UCI/UFEF diver Dale Hammon and guest speaker recovery diver Nate Payne. Washingtonville VFW to host Memorial Day activities

On Memorial Day, Monday, May 25 a “Toast to the Post” honoring deceased veterans will be held at 9 a.m. at VFW Post 5532, Washingtonville. The parade will form at Jim Santini Builders lot on School Street in Washingtonville and begin at 10 a.m., proceeding to the Veterans Memorial at VFW Post 5532. Springfield Township, New Middletown honor veterans with Community Banner Program

Springfield Township and the Village of New Middletown are proud to honor 205 veterans with banners displayed throughout New Middletown, New Springfield and Petersburg. The project began in January 2025 with the collection of veterans’ photos and information from local families. Through generous fundraising efforts, donations, and support from local businesses and community members, the banners were provided at no cost to the families.
