WELLSVILLE – Village council is considering added a cost to bury cremains in an occupied grave. Council members recently agreed to have an ordinance drafted that would charge $350 on top of the grave opening and closing costs to bury cremains in an occupied grave at Springhill Cemetery. LISBON — A Washingtonville man found not guilty by reason of insanity in 2024 for felonious assault and other charges will remain on conditional release in the community. SALEM — The board of education approved a membership agreement to join the Northeast 8 Conference in 2027 in its June 15 meeting. The board of education voted unanimously to approve an agreement to join the conference with membership participation set to begin in the 2027-2028 school year.
