Two arrested on drug charges following search of East Palestine home

EAST PALESTINE — Two people were arrested this week on drug charges following a police investigation. According to a statement released by the East Palestine Police Department on its Facebook page on Thursday the arrests were made on the 100 block of West Martin Street as the result of a search warrant executed at a home. “During the search of the residence officers recovered suspects narcotics, drug paraphernalia, electronic devices and several hypodermic syringes,” the statement said. Greenford Ruritan Club won’t attend Canfield Fair this year

CANFIELD (WKBN) — After 60 years of pancakes and chicken dinners, the Greenford Ruritan Club will not attend this year’s Canfield Fair. The club made the announcement on social media Wednesday. “The Greenford Ruritan has always been proud to serve our community, and that has only been possible because of the loyalty of our patrons and supporters, and the dedication of our volunteers.
