Trial remains set for man accused of running over pregnant girlfriend

LISBON — The jury trial for the man accused of causing the death of his pregnant girlfriend after allegedly running her over last year in East Liverpool remains set for Oct. 27. Cameron Martin, 20, Minerva Street, East Liverpool, appeared for an interim status hearing in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court before Judge Megan Bickerton on Friday. He was accompanied by his defense attorneys, Christine Falconer and Bruce Williams. The state was represented by county Assistant Prosecutors Steve Yacovone and Jennifer Bonish.
