Lisbon man pronounced dead after motorcycle and car crash

LISBON (WKBN) — A Lisbon man has died after a vehicle and motorcycle crashed in Madison Township Sunday. According to a report from the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Lisbon Post, Glenn R. Kennedy, 61, of Lisbon, was pronounced dead on the scene after being hit by a vehicle turning left on State Route 45. The report states Kennedy was traveling southbound on State Route 45 on his motorcycle when he was struck by a Nissan Altima attempting a turn onto Osbourne Road. East Liverpool receives mural grant

EAST LIVERPOOL — East Liverpool has received funding for a mural on a Fifth Street building. Mayor Bobby Smith told city council members Monday the city has been awarded a mural grant through the efforts of Lisa Painter, deputy director of LeapHub. The mural will be painted on the building that will be occupied by Goodwill. Smith said Westgate students will design the mural showing the history of East Liverpool. Liverpool Township trustees approves reallocation of appropriations

LIVERPOOL TOWNSHIP — During Tuesday’s Liverpool Township Board of Trustees meeting, trustees approved several resolutions to reallocate appropriations. Trustees approved the reallocation for the General Fund in the amount of $200 from the Auditing Service to the Travel Reimbursement Line Item in the amount of $200; to supplement appropriations for the General Fund in the amount of $642 for the Workers Compensation Line Item; and to authorize a temporary cash advance from the General Fund to the Police District Fund in the amount of $30,000.
