Salem residents may be able to have WIC benefit cards refilled at health department

SALEM — Salem residents receiving benefits through the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) may soon be able to have their benefit cards refilled at the health department. During the board of health’s June meeting, Health Commissioner Chelsea Clark told the board that she had spoken with WIC about potentially setting a monthly refill date in Salem. East Liverpool Elks veterans committee to host breakfast The Elks Lodge 258, 620 Broadway St., East Liverpool, will host its Veterans Committee All You Can Eat Breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 11. Town & Country Garden Club holds June meeting

EAST PALESTINE – The Town & Country Garden Club of East Palestine recently held its June meeting. Due to VBS taking place at First Church of Christ, the meeting was held on member Mary Anne Tyger’s patio. There were 23 members present, with three being new members. All were welcomed by President Joyce Doll, followed by a blessing given before inviting all to enjoy the snack.
