Lisbon zoning committee to discuss food truck fees
LISBON — The zoning committee of Lisbon Village Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. today to discuss food truck fees, which council agreed recently to start having enforced in 2027. The new fees were part of the new zoning code approved last year, with Councilwoman Melissa Hiner questioning at a council meeting last month why no fees had been collected for food trucks this year. The fees for food trucks were set in the new zoning code as $100 per day or $250 for six months or $500 for the year. United school board approves salary increases in new union contracts
HANOVERTON — Salary increases have been awarded to members of both United Local School District unions this month. The board of education approved new three-year contracts for the United Employee Association and the Ohio Association of Public School Employees that include a four percent salary increase in the first year. Man who fled Salem traffic stop facing multiple felonies
LISBON — A Salineville man caught Sunday after fleeing a traffic stop in Salem on Saturday, crashing his car and fleeing on foot will face multiple felony and misdemeanor charges for multiple cases during a hearing Sept. 28. Nathaniel L. Ford, 24, West Main Street, remains jailed, now under a $150,000 cash or surety bond, after appearing in Columbiana County Municipal Court for arraignment Monday morning. SEBRING (WKBN) — There were some power concerns Monday at the Mahoning County Court in Sebring. Judge Joe Schiavone reached out to WKBN and said FirstEnergy came to the court with a shutoff notice and handed it over to the staff.
