Stage Left Players Presents the Quirky Musical Favorite Little Shop of Horrors

2 min read

LISBON - Stage Left Players invites audiences to enjoy the musical comedy Little Shop of Horrors for two weekends at the Trinity Playhouse, 234 E. Lincoln Way in Lisbon.

The show opens Friday, June 19, and continues June 20, 21, 26, 27, and 28, with Friday and Saturday performances at 7 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.

This Broadway hit combines comedy, romance and a touch of sci-fi as Seymour Krelborn, a meek flower shop employee, discovers a mysterious plant with an insatiable appetite. Filled with memorable songs and larger-than-life characters, Little Shop of Horrors has delighted audiences for decades.

The cast features John Diddle as Seymour, Rachelle Hamilton as Audrey, Eric Kibler as Mr. Mushnik, Braedyn Miller as Orin, and Luke Kraft as the voice of Audrey II.

Providing the show's signature Motown-inspired sound are the Trio -- Morgan Boley, Christine Martin and Olivia Rice. Zachery Johnson serves as puppeteer for Audrey II.

The ensemble includes Virginia Barborak, Paige Hoskinson, Alison Hoskinson, Elsie Kibler, Piper Lawrence, Gemma Messenger and Reagan Smith.

A special highlight of the production is Audrey II itself, featuring original puppets created by master artist and puppeteer Jacob Ward, with additional detailing by Maja Kibler.

Tickets are $17 for adults and $15 for students and seniors. Online reservations are encouraged and may be made at StageLeftPlayers.org. Tickets will also be available at the door.
