Salineville Kiwanis Students of the Month announced

The daughter of Amanda and Nate Jones of Salineville, Jones has earned a 3.87 grade point average and is ranked 10th in the Class of 206.
She is president of the National Honor Society and a member of student council, the Spanish Club and Varsity Club.
She is a four-year letter winner in basketball and three-year letter winner in softball and has received numerous athletic awards from the Eastern Ohio and Ohio Valley athletic conferences and was named to the Morning Journal’s All-County All-Star Team three years.
Following graduation, she plans to attend the University of Mount Union and earn a degree in special education to pursue a career in teaching.

Jacob McCurdy
The son of Joseph and Sarah McCurdy, McCurdy is ranked sixth in his class, with a GPA of 4.139.
He is a member of the National Honor Society and will receive an honors diploma and honor cord at graduation.
He was a four-year letter winner and captain on the basketball team, earned the most points per game for the 2025-26 season and received the Indian Award.
This year he was named to the OVAC First Team and received honorable mention from the EOAC and Youth Sports Network.
He is a member of the Varsity Club, Spanish Club and journalism staff.
Following graduation, he plans to attend Wright State University and major in electrical engineering.
