LISBON — Lepper Library will host the following upcoming events and activities:
Weekly Storytimes:
Moving and Grooving
Class Time: Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
This Storytime is geared towards babies and toddlers. Come sing songs, listen to a story, and play. Older siblings are welcome to join in also.
Preschool Story Hour
Class Time: Tuesdays at 11 a.m.
Sing songs, listen to stories, and make crafts. Stay and play after the program. Geared toward children 3-5 but younger and older siblings are welcome.
National Library Week
Date: April 19-26
Celebrate this year’s theme: Find Your Joy. Use your library card and receive a present. Adults, read a book from a selection of staff-recommended titles to enter a drawing. Adults are welcome to unwind and craft a diamond art bookmark.
Adult Activity Hour
Tuesday, April 21
Time: 1-2 p.m.
A new monthly group activity at the library invites adults of all ages to enjoy games like cards and bingo in a warm, inclusive environment. Participants can share stories, learn new games, and make friends, ensuring everyone finds something enjoyable and leaves with a smile and a sense of belonging. The group will meet twice a month. How Well Do You Know the Library Scavenger Hunt
Date: April 19-26
Find Your Joy this week by joining in celebrating National Library Week. See how well you know the Lepper Library and its resources. Visit the circulation desk to pick up a form. Once you’ve completed it, return it for a small prize and a chance to be entered into a drawing for a surprise gift. This activity is open for school age children and older.
Morning Toddler and Preschool Storytimes
Date: Tuesday, April 21
Class Time: 10 and 11 a.m.
During our morning storytimes, dress up as your favorite book’s fictional character. Let’s see if we can guess who you are. You can also bring in your favorite book to show others.
Sensory Hour
Date: Saturday, April 25
Class Time: 9:30-10:30 a.m.
For anyone seeking a calm atmosphere to participate in sensory activities, we invite you to join us at this time for some enjoyable hands-on fun. This is for children of all ages.
Writers’ Group
Date: Saturdays, May 2 and June 6
Class Time: 2 p.m.
Join fellow writers as we come to discuss topics such as writing, publishing, and grammar. To receive constructive critiques, submit five pages a week in advance to dolly@lepperlibrary.org.
Nutrition & Movement in Perimenopause
Guest Speaker Roxie The Mama Coach
Date: Monday, May 4 Class Time: 4:30 p.m.
Roxie will address methods for integrating healthy additions into your diet and ways to incorporate movement into your daily routine to promote longevity. Call to register.

Spring Book Sale at the Lepper Library
Dates: Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9 Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A wide selection of adult, teen, and children’s books, audios, and movies will be available. The prices are hardbacks 50 cents, paperbacks 25 cents, audios and DVDs $1, all children’s books 25cents and magazines are free with any purchase. To find the sale, enter the parking lot from the East Lincoln Way entrance and the sale entrance is in the garage off Vine Street.
Snack Time

Wellness & Life Skills Coordinator Sign up for this program and learn about healthy snacks as we make angel food pastries. This program is geared towards school-age children. Space is limited.
Mother’s Day Crafting

Drop in and make a wooden flower bouquet as we celebrate mothers with a special gift.
