Men’s breakfast at Boyce Church

Boyce Church on Anna Avenue in East Liverpool will host its men’s breakfast at 9 a.m. Saturday. The guest speaker will be Pastor Gary Lilly. All men are welcome.

Holiday assistance

East Palestine Social Concerns will be preparing for holiday assistance. Harvest Sunday food collections will be held in local churches Oct. 26 and Nov. 2. Food donations can also be left at the East Palestine Library and Sparkle Market from Nov. 1 through Dec. 6. Sign-up for Thanksgiving assistance will be Monday, Oct. 27 at the Centenary Methodist Church from 10:30 a.m. to noon and 5 to 6 p.m. Sign-up for Christmas is at the same place and times on Monday, Nov. 3. This holiday assistance is only for residents of the East Palestine School District, so proof of residence is required.
