WLC Club
The WLC Club met on Oct. 14 at the Living Well Church with leader Mary Jarvis opening the meeting with prayer and then calling roll. Connie Hissam led the group in prayer.
Donna Lee wore the officer’s ribbon and Alice Eckstein won the challenge. Hissom won the 50/50 drawing. The nono for the week is chocolate.
Lee read the treasurer’s report and Brenda Young read the minutes; both were approved as read.
Jarvis passed out pumpkins and they are to be painted and decorated and brought back in on Oct. 28 to be judged as most original; small and large pumpkins are two different groups.
The Christmas party was discussed and more details will be given at a later. Barb Tranter read a funny story and then Jarvis closed the meeting wishing all a good week.
Tops 1341
Tops 1341 met at the Glenmoor Presbyterian Church on Oct. 20, with leader, Mary Gailey presiding. The best loser was Darla Varney and the runner up was Cheryl Myers. They chose potato chips and ice cream as the junk foods for the coming week.

The meeting opened with pledges and closed with prayer concerns and the Lord’s Prayer.
