LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a preliminary hearing was set Sept. 18 for Wilbert Faulk Jr., 38, Church Street, Extension, Salineville, charged with third-degree felony domestic violence for allegedly assaulting a woman on Sept. 9 in Salineville. He was fined $100 for possessing marijuana.
A preliminary/pretrial hearing was set Sept. 18 for Andrew S. Brown, 39, Elmwood Drive, Lisbon, charged with a fifth-degree felony receiving stolen property and misdemeanors of obstructing official business and possession of drug paraphernalia. Brown allegedly possessed a stolen cage-enclosed trailer on Sept. 8 in Salem and when approached by police gave a false name and possessed a fold of paper used for storage of dangerous drugs.
A preliminary hearing was set Sept. 18 for Jessie Endicott, 41, Georgetown Road, Beloit, charged with fifth-degree felony receiving stolen property for allegedly possessing a stolen cage-enclosed trailer on Sept. 8 in Salem.
A pretrial was set Nov. 27 for Larry Calhoun, 37, Gainesville, Fla., charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with an officer posing as a female in exchange for $80, arriving in East Palestine on Aug. 18 for the meeting.
A pretrial was set Dec. 4 for Kase Kristopher Plunket, 33, Carrollton, charged with engaging in prostitution, possessing criminal tools and attempt related to a drug charge. Plunket allegedly responded to an undercover ad of two adult females and arranged for sexual activity with the females in exchange for $220, traveling to East Palestine on May 20 for the meeting.
A pretrial was set Nov. 20 for Thomas Brooks Jr., 44, Petersburg, charged with dissemination of image of another person for allegedly posting a nude photo of a woman on his social media page on June 20 in New Waterford.
Cody Hostetter, 22, North Pleasant Drive, East Palestine, was fined $200 and sentenced to 45 days in jail for misdemeanor attempted possession of drugs, amended from a fifth-degree felony charge of possession of drugs, for possessing a bag of suspected methamphetamine on Jan. 6 in Salem.
A pretrial was set Dec. 18 for Delores Lilly, 58, West Washington Street, Lisbon, charged with theft for allegedly stealing items at Dollar General in Lisbon on June 8.
Jarrod Westover, 23, North Market Street, Lisbon, was fined $150 and sentenced to seven days in jail, with credit for one day served, leaving six days to serve, for theft for stealing a bicycle in Salem on Sept. 10.
A pretrial was set Dec. 14 for John Lee, 57, Youngstown, charged with obstructing official business and disorderly conduct for allegedly getting into a physical pushing match with the owner of Steve’s Towing in Leetonia over a vehicle towed to the impound lot on Sept. 8 in Leetonia, then impeding an officer’s attempt to talk with him and pulling away while being cuffed.
Susan Cooper, 50, Lincoln Street, East Liverpool, was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 177 days suspended, leaving three days to serve, for theft. She was ordered to perform 20 hours community service and to stay out of the Calcutta Walmart, where she failed to scan and pay for five items totaling $40 on June 2.
A pretrial was set Dec. 18 for Larry Dean Ellis Jr., 38, Waynesburg, Pa., charged with criminal trespass for allegedly entering the Monro Muffler store in Calcutta knowing he wasn’t allowed to be there in August.
Heather Yeager, 36, Day Road, Lisbon, was fined $300 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, with credit for 10 days served, for drug paraphernalia and falsification. Yeager gave police a different name during a traffic stop and also possessed a pipe on Oct. 24, 2020 in St. Clair Township.
A pretrial was set Nov. 16 for Samuel Albright, 39, St. Clair Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs first offense, OVI refusal with prior within 20 years, marked lanes, criminal damaging and two counts endangering children while operating a vehicle. Albright was allegedly impaired while driving with two children in the vehicle in Columbiana on Sept. 9. The criminal damaging charge stemmed from an incident Sept. 20, 2022 when he allegedly punched the driver side mirror of a vehicle in St. Clair Township.
Dawn M. Andrews, Millrock Road, New Waterford, was fined $1,250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 170 days suspended, for OVI, obstructing official business and slow speed. An OVI refusal and charge of resisting arrest were dismissed. Her driver’s license was suspended for two years, with driving privileges granted. Andrews refused to get out of the vehicle after being told several times during a traffic stop in Columbiana on June 10.
A pretrial was set Nov. 28 for Brandi Buchanan, 38, Forbes Road, Wellsville, charged with OVI first offense, OVI breath first offense and speeding.
A pretrial was set Dec. 14 for Travis McKinnon, 46, Chester, W.Va., charged with possession of drug abuse instrument and drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a used syringe, burnt glass tube and cut straw with residue during a traffic stop on Sept. 10 in East Liverpool.
Brennan Rydarowicz, 20, Fork Road, Leetonia, was fined $85 for speeding and improper/expired registration. A charge of driving under suspension was dismissed.
James Lee Nelson, 35, West Ninth Street, East Liverpool, was fined $135 for driving under suspension and speeding.
A pretrial was set Dec. 14 for Davon Whitson, 33, Etruria Street, East Liverpool, charged with a turn signal violation.
Ryan Dempsey, 41, Navarre, was fined $150 for an equipment violation, amended from traffic control devices.
George Jeges Jr., 58, Lowellville, was fined $150 for an equipment violation, amended from speeding.
Grand Jury
LISBON — Anna Greeneisen, 41, Benton Road, Salem, was served Friday with a secret indictment issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury for aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, with a specification for forfeiture of money from a drug case, for allegedly possessing methamphetamine and $1,375 on Oct. 13, 2021.

LISBON — Recently in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court, Thomas Sacco, 71, Cherry Street, Homeworth, pleaded guilty to domestic violence, a third-degree felony, for punching a woman, biting her and then cornering her in a room and hitting her on Nov. 17, 2022 in Homeworth. He was sentenced to 260 days in jail, with credit for 221 days served, leaving 39 days to serve. He had three previous guilty pleas or convictions for domestic violence.
Also in Common Pleas Court:
— Joshua Watkins, 35, Bloomdale Street, East Liverpool, was placed on probation for 30 months after pleading guilty to drug charges in two separate indictments, including two counts aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, and possessing drug abuse instruments, a misdemeanor. Watkins possessed methamphetamine on July 25, 2021 and May 18, 2021, along with a drug abuse instrument on July 25, 2021.
