LISBON - Donald and Margaret Burton, Lisbon, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary hosted by their children from 2-4 p.m. May 15 at St George's Catholic Hall in Lisbon.The former Margaret M. Yaney married Donald D. Burton on May 12, 1956 at St. John's Catholic Church in Summittville, with the Rev. John Nist officiating. LISBON - Joseph and Marian Siefke, Lisbon, will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday with family.The former Marian Mazzone married Joseph Siefke on April 16, 1966 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in East Palestine.Mr. Siefke is retired from General Motors in Lordstown.They are members of St. George Catholic Church in Lisbon.They have one son and two daughters, Joe (Tammy) Siefke, Cathy (Jeff) Kress and Beth (Randy) McGaffick, all of Lisbon, two granddaughters and two grandsons.

Tices celebrating 60th year

EAST LIVERPOOL -Jim and Dorothy Tice of East Liverpool will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on March 10.The former Dorothy Mae Stoakes married James R. Tice on March 10, 1956 at Grace United Presbyterian Church in East Liverpool. The late George Parfitt, cousin of the groom, served as best man. Barbara Richardson Noonan was maid of honor.The Tices are lifelong residents of East Liverpool. Mr. Tice retired from Crucible Steel in 1983 and the Columbiana County Health Center in 1999. EAST LIVERPOOL - Gary and Patty Williams of East Liverpool, celebrated their 50th wedding recently.They were married in Monroe, Mich. on Feb. 25, 1966 by the Rev. Paul Markham of the First Presbyterian Church of Monroe.They took a trip to California for their son Brian's wedding, followed by a trip down the coast to visit Mr. William's brother in Palm Springs, then traveling over to Scottsdale, Ariz. to see his sister before flying home. They were accompanied by their son, Jared, and their daughters Amy and Kylee. Their children will be hosting an open house at the Point of Mercy Sanctuary.

SALEM - Chuck and JoAnn (Shaw) Harris, King Road, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at the Spread Eagle Tavern, Hanoverton.They were married Feb. 24, 1956 at the United Presbyterian Church in Lisbon by the Rev. C.O. Armstrong.They operated their family dairy farm near Winona for 30 years.Mr. Harris was a lineman for the Ohio Edison Co. and worked at Bare Farm Equipment and most recently retired from Ellyson Inc.
