UNITY — Heartland's Evan Farrell threw a perfect game as the Lions knocked off Southern Local 13-0 in a Div. VII sectional baseball tournament game on Thursday at Ace of Diamonds. Farrell threw 51 pitches with 40 for strikes. He struck out six and walked none. Jacob Goehring had a strong day at the plate with a double and triple with an RBI. ST. CLAIRSVILLE — East Liverpool senior Kailynn Kirby leaped to a third straight regional berth Wednesday. Kirby placed fourth at the St. Clairsville Division III district track and field meet, clearing 4-foot-10.
