WELLSVILLE — Wellsville is looking toward a former East Liverpool standout athlete to lead its athletic programs. Howard Williams was approved as the school district's new athletic director on Monday at the Wellsville Board of Education meeting. The 2021 East Liverpool High School graduate was a strong defensive player in the secondary for the Potter football team and a three-time state tournament qualifier in wrestling.
