Salem wrestling postponed

SALEM — Salem Junior/Senior High School will be closed again today because there is no heat due to an old gas line that is being replaced. Students in grades 7-12 were learning remotely Wednesday and today while workers put in a new line. Salem superintendent Sean Kirkland said a 10-inch gas line by the cafeteria that was installed when the school was built rusted through. He said the school uses natural gas for the boilers and five propane heaters were brought into the building Wednesday to keep the water pipes from freezing.
