MINERAL RIDGE — United High School’s softball team etched its name in school history Monday night as the 11th-seeded Golden Eagles cruised to an impressive 14-1 five-inning romp over fourth-seeded Mineral Ridge in a Div. VI district semifinal at Bill Croft Field. LISBON — Lisbon's baseball team solved Heartland Christian with a 9-1 win on Monday. Ashton Hinchliffe had two hits and an RBI for the Blue Devils, while Logan Sturgeon had two hits and two RBIs. Aiden Myers had a double and three RBIs, while Mason Jones had a double and two RBIs. Brady Carpenter got the win with 10 strikeouts and two walks in five innings.
