OVAC soccer full of area teams

The area will be well-represented in OVAC soccer championship finals across the region on Saturday. Beaver Local's boys and girls soccer teams, Oak Glen's boys, Columbiana's boys and United's girls will all compete for titles in their respective classifications. Beaver Local's boys come into their Class 5A final at 10-0-1 and will take on Wheeling Park (10-0-2) at 12:30 p.m. at St. Clairsville High School. POLAND — Ronin Sutter scored on a 35-yard shot two minutes in the match as the Salem boys soccer team scored a 1-0 win over Poland on Thursday. Salem improves to 6-3-1, while Poland drops to 9-2.
