Lisbon turns over Valley Christian

MINERAL RIDGE — Devin Kelly, Jett Vrable, Wyatt Newbold and Elijah Brown had interceptions in leading Lisbon past Valley Christian, 28-14, Saturday night at Mineral Ridge High School. Lisbon improves to 3-3 overall and 1-2 in the Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference. Valley drops to 1-5 — scoring 33 points in the five losses — and 1-2 in league play. After placing second at the Suburban League Cross Country Championships on Tuesday, Miller took fifth place at the Malone Night Invitational on Saturday. CANFIELD — Oak Glen senior Lacey Cameron won the third annual Youngstown State High School Cross Country Meet on Saturday.
