Potters beat Devils in 10th
East Liverpool 8, Lisbon 7
EAST LIVERPOOL — Meadow O’Rourke’s RBI single scored Addie Jones in the 10th inning to lead East Liverpool to an 8-7 win over Lisbon on Tuesday at Patterson Field.
Lisbon was up 5-0 in the fifth inning before the Potters took the lead with six runs in the bottom of the sixth.
Jones led the winners with three hits and an RBI. Trinity Pearson had a single and double. Johonna Vantilburg, O’Rourke, Kylee Evans and Alanna McGonigal had two hits each.
Rayne Faessel went all 10 innings with eight strikeouts and four walks for the Potters. She threw 174 pitches.
For Lisbon, Abby Ammon had three hits including two doubles. Kamryn Peruchetti had three hits and an RBI. Aria Reckner and Dickey had two hits each.
Peruchetti took the loss with five strikeouts and no walks in nine innings.
East Liverpool is 4-5 and will host Indian Creek today.
Lisbon is 2-7 and hosts East Palestine on Monday.

HANOVERTON — Payten Kekel had a grand slam to lead United to a 13-1 win over East Palestine on Tuesday in Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference play.
Chloe Angelo had a double and two singles with two RBIs for the winners. Caitlyn Roller added two hits. Miley Pitts had a single, double and three RBIs.
Madison Aegerter got the win with nine strikeouts and two walks in five innings.
East Palestine only had three singles against Aegerter.
Alivia Magness was the losing pitcher with four walks and two strikeouts in two innings.
United is 5-2 and 4-0 in the EOAC.
East Palestine is 2-4 and 2-4 in the EOAC.
The Golden Eagles will host Leetonia twice today.
East Palestine is at Brookfield on Friday.

Oak Glen 11, Wheeling Central 0
WHEELING, W.Va. — Oak Glen’s softball team had it going early as it scored seven runs in the first inning to devour Wheeling Central Catholic 11-0 in five innings on Tuesday.
Mattie Carney was once again sharp in the circle as she limited Central to two hits while striking out nine. At the plate she had two hits and two RBIs.
Kynslee Landess had a home run, single and two RBIs. Danica Holden had a single, double and two RBIs. Kylie Robison had a single and two RBIs. Macy Hartung had two hits.
Oak Glen is 8-4 and is at Lincoln out of Shinnston on Friday.
