Rudibaugh tops local bowlers
ST. CLAIRSVILLE — East Liverpool’s boys bowling team finished seventh on Tuesday at the Div. II sectional tournament at St. Clair Lanes.
The Potters scored 3,397 which was 10 pins off of sixth place.
The six district qualifying teams were Barnesville (3,932), Union Local (3,775), River View (3,678), Harrison Central (3,487), Conotton Valley (3,473) and Indian Valley (3,407).
Leading the Potters was Grady Rudibaugh who had a 189 high game and a 546 series to finish 17th. Also for the Potters, Hunter Estell was 34th with a 494 series.
Beaver Local’s Mikey Druschel was 57th with a 446 series. The Beavers finished 14th (3,129) as a team. Barnesville’s Keegan Martin won with a 660 series.
Individual district qualifiers not on a qualifying team were Maysville’s Conner Theisen (601), Newcomerstown’s Jaxson Mayo (216), Minerva’s Owen Frazier (593), Buckeye Local’s Michael Kovalski (590), St. Clairsville’s Brenden Thoburn (585) and Philo’s Charles Himes (585).
