EAST LIVERPOOL — East Liverpool’s Dre’Keim Abercrombie scored 22 of his team high 26 points in the second half as the Potters rolled over Buckeye Local 64 -52 on Saturday in boys basketball action.

Nolan Irving added 10 points for the winners who managed pull away despite hitting 15 of 33 free throws and just one three-pointer.

Buckeye Local fell to 0-2.

East Liverpool welcomes Steubenville on Friday.

Heartland 81, Lisbon 73

LISBON — In a wild, back-and-forth affair, Heartland Christian prevailed 81-73 over Lisbon on Saturday in the championship game of the Lisbon Tip-Off Tournament.

Heartland led by eight at half, while Lisbon had a six point lead going into the fourth quarter.

Collin Kalaher led the Lions with 21 points, while Brody Conaway had 19 points. Isaiah Matthews had 18 points, while Jack Morgan had 15 points.

The Lions (2-0) will host Bristol on Tuesday.

A.J. Ramgeet sparked the Devils with 24 points, seven assists, four steals and four blocks. Aidan Ramgeet and Blaine Barnes added 18 points each. Aidan Myers had 10 rebounds and Barnes had eight boards.

Lisbon (1-1) will host Liberty on Friday in the Hoops at Noon game.
