COLUMBIANA — Danny Novak scored three goals as Crestview beat United, 4-3, in boys soccer action Saturday.

The Rebels won their seventh straight match to improve to 12-3 heading into today’s contest at Ravenna Southeast.

Carson Barber scored Crestview’s other goal. Alex Beveridge had two assists. Riley Mercer made some key stops to preserve the victory.

United (5-7-2) will host Minerva on Tuesday.

Salem 13, Niles 0

SALEM –The Salem boys soccer team scored a 13-0 rout of Niles on Saturday.

The Quakers improve to 10-3-2 and will host Beaver Local on Tuesday.

Niles drops to 1-13.

Beaver Local 1, Sandy Valley 1

CALCUTTA — Beaver Local and Sandy Valley played to a 1-1 tie in boys soccer action Saturday.

Beaver Local (9-4-2) will play at Salem on Tuesday.

Sandy Valley (8-3-2) will entertain Salem on Thursday.

Ursuline 4, Crestview 0

YOUNGSTOWN –Youngstown Ursuline claimed its fourth victory by downing Crestview, 4-0, in girls soccer action Saturday.

Ursuline (4-10) will play at West Branch today.

Crestview (3-9-3) will travel to Southeast today. The Rebels have been shut out in each of their last five losses.
