Frederick D. Cook

CANFIELD — Frederick D. Cook, 68, passed away peacefully Oct. 12, 2022 at his home. Fred was born Feb. 28, 1954, in Salem, a son of the late John and Helen Bare Cook. He was a graduate of Greenford Schools. He held many jobs over the years but more importantly he enjoyed his motorcycles and spending time with family and friends. Fred is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Chad) Burbick of Salem; son, Jonathan Cook of Leetonia; three grandchildren, Hope, Philip, and Isaac; and a brother, Richard (Debbie) Cook of North Lima. SALEM — Laverne (Kephart) Hummel, 93, of Salem died at 9:30 p.m. Monday at the Windsor House/Omni Manor Health Care Center in Youngstown. She was born March 6, 1929, in Philipsburg, Pa., daughter of the late Herman and Laura (Coulter) Kephart. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services of Salem. 10/15/22
