Janet Elizabeth Everhart 

1942-2025

Janet E. Everhart, 83, of Guilford Lake passed away on Monday, Dec. 29, 2025. She was born on Nov. 20, 1942 to Thomas and Marie Price. 

Janet graduated from United High School in 1960. She married the love of her life Raymond L. Everhart on Feb. 19, 1961. He passed away on Nov. 25, 2020. 

Janet was a member of the Trinity Friends Church and in the Guilford Ruritans. Her passion was baking and providing for her family. Janet went above her loving her own children. She provided love to all children by offering baby sitting services to many families in the area. She operated the Queen Gardens restaurant in Hanoverton and also worked at Aunt Mabel’s in East Rochester. 

Survivors are her children John (Lenann) Everhart of Sebring, Jerry Everhart of Latrobe, Pa., Lois Alcoces of Guilford Lake, Sid (Jennifer) Everhart of Lisbon; her sister Clara Wilson of Columbiana; and 10 grand children: Jeri Michelle, Mitchell, Charlie, Michael, Elizabeth, Allison, Charleigh, Josh, Zachary and Sydnee. 

Janet was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Pam Everhart and a son-in-law, Chris Alcoces; and her siblings Doris M. Price, Art Price, Margie Nisson, Charles Price, Ruth Sferra Jeffries, Vera Price Roberts, Margaret Price, Thomas Price and Barbara Coker.
