Linda May (Conn) Black

1943-2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Linda May (Conn) Black. Linda departed this life surrounded with love, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories.

Born May 30, 1943, in Lisbon, Ohio, Linda was a proud graduate of David Anderson High School, class of 1961. She remained a devoted member of the Lisbon community for most of her life, a place she deeply cherished.

Linda found great joy in life's simple pleasures and pursued her passions with enthusiasm. An active member of the local craft club for many years, she delighted in creating beautiful handmade items. She enjoyed gardening and canning for her loved ones. Linda's unwavering support for the Pittsburgh Steelers was well-known, as they were the only team she would ever watch. She was also a devoted animal lover providing a loving home to several feline companions over the years. Linda was fortunate to explore 48 of the 50 United States. Above all, Linda treasured her grandchildren and spending time with them.

While Linda's primary role was a loving stay-at-home mother, she served at the Lepper Library in Lisbon for several years and later had a brief tenure as a cashier at Hillyer's Fine Foods in the early 1980s.

Linda's legacy lives on through her devoted family: her son, Robert Black (Liesalette) of Goodyear, Arizona; daughter, Julie Rambo (Mark) of Piedmont, Ohio; grandchildren, Garret Rambo of Lisbon and Sarah Abigail Rambo of Columbiana; and her brother, Harry Conn (Mary Lynn) of Hudson, Ohio.

Linda was preceded in death by her sisters, Joy Tuttle and Mildred Cusick; her brother James Conn; nephew Micheal Conn; and her parents, Elizabeth and Alva Conn.

Linda will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Following her wishes, no services will be observed.

Arrangements are in the care of the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.

Friends may view Linda's memorial tribute page, share a memory, and leave condolences at www.eells-leggett-stauffer.com.
