Michael (Mickey) Alan Knepper

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Michael (Mickey) Alan Knepper. After a lengthy illness, Mickey entered into eternal rest on Dec. 7, 2025 with his loving wife by his side.

Mickey found joy outdoors in the simple beauty of nature. His love of the wild had him spending countless hours hunting, fishing, and forging for wild mushrooms. It was during his morning rides when his spirit showed brightest.

After graduating from Salem High School Mickey dedicated himself to his career as an Ironworker with Local 207. His brothers will remember him for his strong work ethic, bold personality, outspoken humor and endless stories of shared experiences.

Mickey is survived by his devoted wife Glenda, brother Bill (Madelyn), sister Bobbi (Dave), sons Jarred (Paula) and Kyle (Kali), stepdaughters Audra (Daniel) and Amanda, grandsons Ethan and Landon along with seven step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Robert and Alma and previous/late wife Dorothy.

Above all, Mickey will be remembered for the love he had for his family and deep connection to nature. Mickey impacted everyone blessed to know him. His absence leaves a space that will never be filled but tinder memories will live in the hearts of those he touched.

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, 2 to 6 p.m. at Quaker City Eagles 316, 1884 N. Ellsworth Ave., Salem, Ohio.
