Cora J Hanaman-Ries

Cora J Hanaman-Ries went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 17, 2025. She was 91.

Cora “Janet” Hanaman-Ries was born in St. Charles, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Fletcher Ingram, Jr. and Dorthy (Hackney) Ingram. Cora attended Irondale High School and had college business extension schooling in Ohio and Illinois. She was a committed and dedicated employee at Abbott Laboratories where she worked for 21 years and then for Ryland Homes for 12 years thereafter.

Cora was a devout Christian. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God in Orlando, Fla. and a choir member with a truly angelic voice. She also attended Calvary Assembly Orlando and St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Oviedo, Fla. She always aspired to see the goodness in people and in the world, even through hardships and disconcertment. She prayed for all of those in need and everyone she cared for by name every night. Her memory will continue to inspire us. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on in our hearts and we will forever cherish the special moments we all shared with her.

She is survived by her son, Andy Rohall Jr.; grandchildren, Drew (Gina) Rohall, Mariah (Turman) Rohall, Lauren (Dan) Rogan and Christopher Ball; great-grandchildren, Jada, Makenzy, Isaiah, Aoife, and Liam; great-great grandson, Ryker. Cora “Janet” Hanaman-Ries will be remembered by all her family members who loved her dearly. Cora was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Robert Clarence Hanaman (3-1-2002), Robert James Ries (6-14-2023); her son, David R Ball (5-8-2020); her brothers Thomas Hurbert Ingram (7-26-2008), Homer Wayne Ingram (10-8-2020), Jack Ernest Ingram (5-6-2017), Donald Sherwood Ingram (9-30-2001).

A graveside service will be held at the Highlandtown Cemetery on Sunday October 19, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Ted Ludwig officiating.

The Kerr Watson Funeral Home was entrusted with local arrangements.
