Carol G. Perkins

COLUMBIANA — Carol G. Perkins, 93, of Columbiana, died on Friday, July 11, 2025.

Carol was born on April 21, 1932, in Salem, daughter of the late George H. and Frances L. Carlisle Burton.

She grew up in Leetonia and spent her adult life living in Columbiana. She was a homemaker and longtime caregiver to her husband Richard and son Michael.

Her husband, Richard Earle Perkins, whom she married on Dec. 10, 1949, preceded her in death on, May 2, 2009.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Linda (Melvin) Winters of Columbiana; two sons, Michael Perkins of Lisbon, Burton (Heather) Perkins of Bainbridge Island, Wash.; four grandchildren, Matthew (Michelle Mahler) Winters; Amanda (Avery) Ohlin, Anthony Melone and Nicholas Melone; a great-grandson, Rayne Ohlin and a grandson-in-law, David Mullen Jr.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gretchen Marino, and a grandchild, Meaghan Mullen. Also preceded in death by a brother, George Arthor Burton, and a sister, Leah F. Pine.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
