Larry Allen Biddle
1936-2023
EAST LIVERPOOL — Larry Allen Biddle, Sr. 86 of East Liverpool passed away after a courageous battle with Congestive Heart Failure at The Orchards in East Liverpool on February 19, 2023. He was born May 20, 1936 to the late Manley and Ruth (Hoffman) Biddle in Toronto, Ohio. He started his work journey working for his father at the LightHouse Truck Stop Steubenville, Ohio and Biddle and Son Service station in Toronto, Ohio. He made his living as a truck driver for 48 years, retiring from Ace Hardware in Prescott, Ariz. He had numerous Safe Driving awards across his 48 years of driving over the road and traveled over 4 million miles. He came out of retirement and became a security guard and worked at the Ohio Valley EMSTAR Wheeling for eight years.
Larry never met a stranger. He loved to BS and talk about Big Trucks and loved Drag Racing. He had a sense of humor like no other, he was never at a loss for words and always had some crazy comment to make people laugh. He was a great Dad and he loved his family. We will miss him.
He was preceded in death by a sister Beverly Biddle and niece Kimberly Kime.
Left to Cherish and Honor his memory are his wife Carrie (Skinner) Biddle of 16 years of St Clairsville, Ohio, one son and three daughters, Cheryl (Paul) Klopfer of Lewis Center, Ohio, Larry A. (Kim) Biddle Jr. of Osceola, Ind., Donna Biddle (David) of East Liverpool, with whom Larry lived with for the past four years, Cathy Chrisman (David) of Port Charlotte, Fla. and stepchildren Carolyn (Jack) McDermott, Gordon (Maggie) Pyles. His sister Dana Kime of Penn Valley, Calif. and nephew Ed Kime of Ore. Eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, six step grandchildren
I would like to thank his friends Bill and Phyllis Swan W.Va. friends for 44 years for going to see him every day, Ray and Kayla Weddle of Wis. friends for 23 years, Harold Burton Ohio, Dan Taggart Fla., Art Miller Ohio. Janet & Becky Hoover Some Place Else Restaurant Wellsville, Ohio where Dad went for breakfast almost every day.
