Susan Gayle (Sinsley) Ead
SALEM — Susan Gayle (Sinsley) Ead, 74, of Salem, went to be with the Lord at 8:49 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Parkside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Salem on February 10, 1947, the daughter of John Vernon and Helen Eunice (Hoon) Sinsley.
Susan was a 1965 graduate of East Palestine High School and a Phlebotomist at a blood donation center. She liked to do hair and had also worked in a beauty shop. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, sewing, going shopping, reading the Bible, listening to christian music and cooking. Susan was also one to always cook for others.
She is survived by her husband Joseph, children: Jennifer Bentley of Nebraska, Molly (Brennan Rohr) Miller of Alliance, and Diane (Dave) Anthony of Harmony, Pa., four grandchildren: Kayleigh, Kaytelynn, Gregory and Jacob, sisters: Helen Michele Parker of East Palestine and Christine Lee (Rodney) Reiter of Damascus.
In addition to her parents, John Vernon Sinsley and Helen Eunice (Hoon) Sinsley Affolter, she was preceded in death by: a daughter Katie Mackey, a sister Carol Ann Sinsley and a brother John D. Sinsley.
Services will be on Saturday, January 15, 2022, 1 p.m. at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. The Rev. John Bush will be officiating the services. A time of visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
