Betty J. Ramsayer
NEW WATERFORD — Betty J. Ramsayer, 90, a lifelong resident of New Waterford, passed away January 5, 2022, at the Hospice House in Poland.
Betty was born December 16, 1931, in Salem, Ohio, daughter of the late Edward and Regina Konerth Mills.
She worked as a homemaker, raising her family. She enjoyed crocheting and was known for her Afghans which she made for family and friends.
Betty is survived by two sons, Carl (Kathy) Ramsayer of Ava, Ill., Jack Ramsayer of Madison,W.Va.; two daughters, Carolyn (Dave) Wukotich of Virginia Beach, Va., Cathy Hubbs of Canton, Ohio; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ramsayer, Sr.; two sons, Jerry Ramsayer, Robert “Ram” Ramsayer, Jr. and a daughter, Robin Zellers.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A burial will follow privately at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.
