Nancy E. (Cornwell) Sego-Hirshfield
SALEM — Nancy E. (Cornwell) Sego-Hirshfield, 80, of Salem, died Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
Nancy was raised in the Bridgeport/Fairfield area of Connecticut. She also lived many years in Casselberry, Florida as well as Salem, Ohio. She was a beautician and real estate agent for many years before going to Florida. Nancy was also a manager of a Mr. Donut Shop for 20 years in Florida.
She is survived by her husband, Barry Jay Hirshfield whom she married on March 7, 2007; daughters, Diane I. (Sean) Hart and Debi S. (Norman) Kelley both of Salem; step children, Eve Berg of Calif., Melissa Lane and Robin Tice both of Ark. and Lora (Kevin) Keith of Florida; a brother Ellsworth “Edward” (Barbara) Cornwell of Fairfield, Conn.; grandchildren, Brendon (Elaina) Hart, Shanleigh (Justin) Luck, Nickolas (Jerrica) Sego, Amanda (Vince) Lovejoy and Samantha Kelley; great-grandchildren, Aniston, Lincoln, Sawyer, Kian, Natalee, Kinsley, Edward and Braxton; step great-grandchildren; Mason, Dalton (Mattie), Dillon, Dawson and Avery. There are also nine step grandchildren and eight step great-grandchildren from Barrys’ side of the family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Stephen Sego whom she married on September 22, 1961 until his death on February 24, 2004, and by a step grandchild of Barrys’.
The family will have a Celebration of Life Gathering from 3-5 PM Saturday at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to have donations made to any local animal shelter.
