John George Berta
SALINEVILLE — John G. Berta age 77 of Salineville passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021. He was born on November 10,1944 to the late John and Stephanie (Sharec) Berta. He served his country in the Air Force. He married Carole Fleming on March 5, 1966. His hobbies were fishing and hunting. John retired from Colfor in Minerva where he worked in the maintenance dept. John was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Dungannon.
Survivors include his wife Carole, two sons David (Kelly) Berta of Salineville and Rich (Theresa) Berta of Minerva. His sister Carolyn Berta of Ravenna. Two granddaughter’s Madison (Mason) Lafferty and Krista Berta. Four great-grandchildren Alanna, Josh, Reagen and Rory.
He was preceded in death by his parent’s and his brother Ted Berta.
