Michelle Thompson

Born on August 13, 1968 in East Liverpool, OH, she was the beloved daughter of Eleanor “Sue” Thompson of Charlotte, NC and John “Jack” Thompson of Lisbon, OH.

Michelle made her home in Charlotte, NC and lived a life full of adventure travelling all over the world making friends wherever she went. She had a passion for good wine and conversation, she loved to entertain and share delicious food with her kindred spirits.

During the storm we know as cancer, she was a warrior. For peace and balance she continued her practice of yoga, meditated faithfully and enjoyed the company of her many “Chemosabees.” Michelle’s greatest gift was her generous, humble soul. It was like no other.

In addition to her parents, Michelle leaves behind her cherished pet Henri and three siblings, Michael Thompson of Wellsville, OH, Victoria Degges of Concord, NH and Melissa Thompson Tart of St. Petersburg, FL; two adored nieces, Kelsey Thompson and Hilary Tart; and six beloved nephews, Justin Ward and wife Jennifer, Trae Borden and wife Anna, Colin Browning, Kyle Thompson, Lance Thompson and Christian Degges. She was blessed and overjoyed to be the great aunt to two precious baby girls, Olivia and Sutton Ward.

In lieu of flowers or contributions, the family asks you to do what Michelle did every day. Be a blessing in the life of someone in need. Send good, positive energy out into the universe and to those who are still fighting the fight, hold a vision of Peace, Love and Miracles and know you are healed.
