Salem — Officers responded to the 600 block of Franklin Avenue at 3:43 a.m. Monday for a wellness check. The caller advised that he believed he saw someone enter his home through a window on his surveillance camera and requested officers check on his wife and niece who were inside the home. Officers attempted contact but nobody answered the door and no signs of anyone walking around the house or going through a window were present.
