Sheriff Reports — Deputies and Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers responded at 5:43 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a possible domestic violence situation with people reportedly barricaded on U.S. Route 30, Hanover Township. It was found that the reported victim was not injured or threatened and denied any further incident. The reported victim was interviewed on the scene and signed a refusal to cooperate. Sheriff Reports —A deputy at 4:28 p.m. Tuesday investigated a report of a suspicious man in the woods near the federal prison, FCI Elkton, waving down cars as they passed by. Contact was made with the man on the rear porch area of a residence on Scroggs Road, Lisbon and he was identified as Terry Lee Banks of Minnesota. Banks, 49, was taken into custody on a charge of criminal trespass and booked into the Columbiana County jail, with other potential charges pending.
