St. Clair Township

— Mykah Andric, age and address not provided, was issued a traffic citation for speed, 63 mph in a 45-mph zone, following an Oct. 15 traffic stop on Calcutta Smith Ferry Road.

— Officers assisted the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office during a traffic by deploying stop sticks on Oct. 16 on Y&O Road. The sheriff’s office handled the occupants from the vehicle and charges. Calcutta Towing Towed the vehicle.

— An officer responding to BP on Oct. 16 for a report of a male acting strange could not locate the subject.

— Onika Hayes, age and address not provided, was issued a citation on Oct. 16 following a traffic stop on state Route 170 after she almost struck an two police cruisers while pulling out of a parking lot and stopping in a lane of travel with half of her vehicle in the roadway.

— An officer responding to a vehicle parked in the middle of the road on St. Clair Avenue, blocking traffic on Oct. 16 arrived to find the vehicle already towed by Calcutta Towing.

Sheriff’s Office

— Salem police at 10:50 p.m. Friday asked a deputy to contact the parents of a 14-year-old boy from Knox Township due to his ride leaving him behind at the high school football game. The deputy made contact with the parents and they were en route to pick the boy up at the Salem police station.
