— Patrolling officers on Crestview Road at 5:44 p.m. Thursday recovered a loose dog and returned it home.

— A juvenile-related report was taken on Sprucevale Road, Middleton Township, at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, with the report sent to Child Protective Services.

— A private property accident was reported at 4:54 p.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of United local schools, state Route 9, Hanover Township. All parties exchanged information.

— A man in Madison Township reported at 4:18 p.m. Wednesday that he was the victim of identity theft.

— A deputy assisted with loose cows in the 4600 block of Depot Road, Butler Township, at 3:57 p.m. Wednesday. All the cows were accounted for and put back into their restricted area.

— East Liverpool City Hospital called at 4:17 p.m. Tuesday to request a welfare check on a person on Parkview Drive, Center Township. A deputy spoke with the person, who was fine.

— A deputy was dispatched at 4:11 p.m. Tuesday for an open 911 line, state Route 164, Wayne Township. The homeowner said they were having issues with the phone.

— A man on Cream Ridge Road, Elkrun Township, reported at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday that he has no trespassing signs posted on his property and his neighbor came onto his property. He said he told the man to leave and not return or he’ll have him arrested the next time he trespasses.

— Brandon Shaffer, of Washingtonville, was arrested at 6:26 p.m. Feb. 7 on charges of domestic violence, abduction and strangulation, after a physical assault.

— A private property crash was reported at 4:10 p.m. Feb. 5 in the drug mart parking lot.

— Police performed a welfare check at 11:22 a.m. Feb. 7 in the 800 block of East Park Avenue. After breaching the back door of the residence, they made contact with her.

— A hit-skip collision was reported shortly after midnight Feb. 7 in front of Factory 46 Tavern in Village Plaza. After making contact with the subject in the vehicle, Michael Mullen, he was arrested on charges of OVI, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to yield right of way from a private drive.
