— Officers responded to the 500 block of East Eight Street at 3:37 a.m. Wednesday for a reported burglary complaint. The caller advised that a known woman had been sitting outside the residence when she suddenly went to the back and gained entry into the garage, before leaving on foot. Officers found the woman a short time later, whose name was not listed, and criminally trespassed her from the residence.

— Officers responded to the 200 block of South Ellsworth Avenue at 11:33 p.m. Tuesday to assist with an intoxicated, distraught woman upset about their cell phone being hacked. Officers discovered that she had someone else’s phone in her possession and the woman was later picked up by a sober driver.

— Officers responded to the 800 block of West Pershing Street at 9:14 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a possible domestic. The caller advised that he heard two people fighting in the apartment above him and the male half was heard hitting something. Officers did not hear any sounds while on the second floor and multiple attempts to make contact were unsuccessful.

— Officers responded to Walmart at 7:17 p.m. Tuesday for a report of an unwanted man. The man was alleged to be following customers in the store and have been in the store for several hours. While searching the store several employees and customers had similar complaints about the person. Officers checked the store and were unable to make contact.

— Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of East Pershing Street and South Madison Avenue at 3:44 p.m. Tuesday for a reported equipment violation. While speaking with the driver, verbal consent was given, and the vehicle was searched, revealing nothing illegal. The driver was issued a written warning for the violation.

— Officers responded to the 300 block of West Ninth Street at 2:40 p.m. Tuesday for a public assistance call. Officers stood by while the caller served papers to the person in question.

— Officers responded to the 2700 block of East State Street at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday for a possible motor vehicle accident. Officers checked the area but did not locate any accidents.

— Officers responded to the 1700 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 12:44 p.m. Tuesday to assist Perry Township officers with an accident. Officers provided traffic control until the vehicle could be removed from the scene.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of East Fifth Street at 10:06 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a person with a warrant. Officers confirmed the warrant and the person, Robert Levis, 38, Salem, was taken into custody and transported to the Columbiana County Jail.

— Officers performed a wellness check on an individual that had been living in his vehicle in a municipal parking lot at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday. Officers advised him of the recently passed ordinance relating to living in a vehicle and offered services.

— Officers responded to the 500 block of Continental Drive at 5:54 a.m. Tuesday for a wellness check. The caller advised that he was unable to make contact with the resident, finding them to be fine.
