— A woman on Sherman Street reported a possible solicitation at 1:49 p.m. Dec. 1 when a person came to her door the previous Friday claiming to be from Direct Energy Services and wanting to see her bills to try and save her money. She showed him her electric bill and they changed it, then she got a letter from Ohio Edison saying it was changed. Now she’s worried that it was a scam. She was told the only person coming around should be from AEP and was told to contact Ohio Edison to find out if it is legit.
