— A Woodland Avenue resident reported at 4:09 p.m. Wednesday her grandson had been assaulted at the park. The matter is under investigation.

— Officers responded to the 200 block of Hawley Avenue at 2:12 p.m. Wednesday where a resident reported her mother’s dog had bit her dog on the ear, noting it was the second time her mother’s dog had bitten her dog, and requested a report be made with the humane officer. The humane officer was advised of the situation.

— Courtney Gibb, Salem, was cited for failure to yield from private property following a two-vehicle crash on Jennings Avenue near West Second Street at 1:18 p.m. Wednesday in which she attempted to back out of a driveway, striking a southbound vehicle driven by Travis Wallace, Salem. No injuries were reported.

— An officer responded to a 2400 block East State Street business at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday where a driver struck a pedestrian in the parking lot. The pedestrian refused medical treatment on scene, but said she may go on her own to be evaluated.

— An officer responded to the 1200 block of Cedar Ridge Drive at 11:52 a.m. Wednesday where a resident reported his ex-girlfriend was harassing him via text messages and that he has tried blocking her, but she keeps contacting with different numbers. He was advised to contact his phone service provider.

— An East Pershing Street resident reported at 10:01 a.m. Wednesday a woman she knows keeps calling her and her brother. She was advised to block the individual. Officers contacted the other woman and advised her to cease her action or face potential charges.

— An officer responded with medical personnel to a 600 block Snyder Road business at 1:59 a.m. Wednesday and stood by until the patient was transported to St. Elizabeth’s in Youngstown.

— An officer responded to the 300 block of Newgarden Avenue at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday where a resident reported someone making threats toward them. The resident had already blocked the other person and no direct threats were found to have been made.

— Sara Campbell, 31, Salem, was arrested on an active warrant for failure to appear on driving under suspension charge after officers responded to her home at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday where she reported an unruly juvenile complaint. She was advised how to file unruly juvenile charges.

— Officers responded to the 1600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue at 3:38 p.m. Tuesday in reference to someone inside a gated area looking at equipment. Officers checked the area but were unable to find anyone.

— Officers on patrol at 12:59 p.m. Tuesday stopped a vehicle in the 1800 block of East State Street for a moving violation. Contraband was recovered from the vehicle and the matter was turned over to the Columbiana County Drug Task Force for further investigation.

— Officers responded to a 200 block West State Street business at 6:09 p.m. Monday in reference to someone going under a fence and under a vehicle with a flashlight. Officers checked the area but were unable to find anyone.

— An officer responded to the Salem Regional Medical Center at 4:07 p.m. Monday where a patient reported someone had stolen her personal belongings bag that contained her clothing and cell phone. Staff members said they would review video to see what happened.

— Officers responded to the 700 block of Arch Street at 1:52 p.m. Monday where the resident did not want someone on her property anymore. The person in question was advised of the trespass notice and left the property.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 10:34 a.m. Monday where a resident reported a woman she knows was making threats to harm her. The resident was advised of the protection order process.

— Cameron A. Yarwood, 45, Salem, was arrested on an active warrant after a patrolling officer observed her in the 300 block of Ohio Avenue at 8:08 a.m. Monday and knew her to have the warrant.

— Officers responded to the 1000 block of Franklin Avenue at 10:54 p.m. Sunday in reference to criminal damaging. The matter is under investigation.

— Officers responded to the 500 block of Bank Street at 3:03 p.m. Sunday in reference to a woman screaming and yelling in her back yard. Officers spoke with the woman who said she had been in an argument with her ex-boyfriend over property but that she was now fine, getting into her vehicle and leaving.

— Two individuals reported on station at 12:06 p.m. Sunday an incident involving one of their friends at a 500 block South Broadway Avenue business the previous night. The matter is under investigation.

— Officers responded to the 300 block of Park Avenue at 10:55 p.m. Nov. 11 in reference to three people shining a light into a window of a residence then walking away. Officers searched the area but found no one.

— Officers responded to the 1000 block of East Third Street at 9:54 p.m. Nov. 11 where a juvenile reported a domestic dispute that happened earlier at a different location. Officers planned to speak with the juvenile’s guardian.

— Officers responded to the 1700 block of Shady Lane at 7:02 p.m. Nov. 11 in reference to four to five juveniles possibly looking into vehicles. Officers checked the area but found no one. Nothing was reported entered or missing.

— Logan C. Zubaty, 18, Salem, was cited for failure to yield from private property following a two-vehicle crash in the 2200 block of Southeast Boulevard at 5:50 p.m. Nov. 11 in which he pulled from a business drive, striking a northbound vehicle driven by Amanda K. Fox, 17, Salem. No injuries were reported.

— Officers assisted the Mahoning County Human Trafficking Task Force arrest a suspect at 5:22 p.m. Nov. 11 in the 100 block of West State Street. Officers seized $140 as evidence.
