— Officers spoke to a person at the police department at 12:08 p.m. Wednesday for a request of a civil stand by. Officers learned the resident has a protection order against the caller and advised him to obtain a court order for his property.
— Officers located drug paraphernalia in the 600 block of Newgarden Avenue at 11:58 a.m. Wednesday. The property was transported to the police department to be properly disposed of.
— Officers responded to the 500 block of Stewart Avenue at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday for a report of a missing juvenile. The caller advised her son was last seen at school Tuesday and did not return home that evening and she is unsure where he went. The caller also advised she contacted his friends and they have not seen him. The proper paperwork was filled out and the juvenile was entered int LEADS as missing.
— Officers responded to the 200 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 9:37 a.m. Wednesday for a report of dog at large. Officers were advised of a dog in the roadway, and checked the area but did not locate it.
— Officers responded to the 1300 block of East State Street at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday for a wellness check. Officers were unable to speak with the person in question but did speak with a neighbor who advised he heard the person leave earlier in the morning.
— An officer responded to the 600 block of Sharp Avenue at 5:52 p.m. Friday where a resident reported a woman had cleaned her house that day and after the woman left, she found money missing from her and her husband’s wallets.
— Brian William Rice, Diamond, was arrested on an active warrant out of Columbiana County and cited for possession of marijuana paraphernalia after officers responded to the 100 block of West State Street at 4:37 p.m. Friday to assist the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force in taking him into custody. Officers seized $180 in evidence and other contraband was confiscated which will be sent for testing. Additional charges are pending.
— An individual reported on station at 4:02 p.m. Friday being contacted by written letter by someone incarcerated against whom she has a protection order. The individual was advised to contact the courts.
