Highway Patrol
— William Gilbert, 44, Negley, was cited for failure to control after his southbound vehicle on state Route 170 went off the right side of the roadway striking a guardrail twice at 6:27 p.m. Nov. 9 in Unity Township. No injuries were reported.
— Larry Gleen, 58, Leetonia, was cited for unsecured loads after his eastbound vehicle on Jaunt Road attempted turn northbound onto Y&O Road, traveling off the left side of the roadway, striking a ditch and causing the trailer to disconnect and strike the roadway at 6:25 p.m. Nov. 9 in Madison Township. No injuries were reported.
— David Watt, 78, New Waterford, was cited for assured clear distance ahead after his eastbound vehicle on state Route 14 struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Elijah Allen, 26, East Palestine, at 4:58 p.m. Nov. 8 in Salem Township. Allen’s passenger, Kimberly Johnson, 50, Columbiana, was transported from the scene by a family member for suspected minor injuries.
— Timothy Timlin, 46, Campbell, was cited for a right of way violation after his southbound vehicle on Lisbon Road failed to yield from a stop sign and struck a vehicle driven south on state Route 45 at 12:17 p.m. Nov. 8 in Center Township. No injuries were reported.
— Robert Kennedy was cited for failure to control and driving under suspension after his northbound vehicle on state Route 164 went off the left side of the roadway striking a ditch and overturning at 5:08 a.m. Nov. 8 in Wayne Township. Kennedy was transported to St. Elizabeth’s by West Point EMS.
— Alexander Hawk, 21, Negley, was cited for failure to control after his westbound vehicle on state Route 154 went off the right side of the roadway striking a tree at 5:36 p.m. Nov. 7 in Middleton Township. No injuries were reported.
Goshen
— Donovan Brackin, 20, Salem, was cited for speeding after his northbound vehicle on South Pricetown Road was observed traveling in excess of the speed limit at 3:16 p.m. Wednesday.
— Anne Yeager, 40, Girard, was cited for speeding after her northbound vehicle on Youngstown Salem Road was observed traveling in excess of the speed limit at 5:47 p.m. Tuesday.
— Samatha Lamantia, 26, East Liverpool, was cited for speeding after her northbound vehicle on state Route 46 was observed traveling in excess of the speed limit at 9:50 a.m. Tuesday.
— Edward McCain, 80, Columbiana, was cited for expired registration after his eastbound vehicle on Salem Unity Road was observed to have a broken taillight and a registration check showed the vehicle to be expired at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
— Officers responded to the 400 block of East Main Street at 12:20 a.m. Monday to assist the Mahoning County Sherriff’s Office with a reported woman in distress. Officers assisted until no longer needed.
— Megan Ball, 24, Waterford, was cited for speeding after her eastbound vehicle on Salem Unity Road was observed traveling in excess of the speed limit at 7:28 p.m. Nov. 10.
— Jermaine Clay, 42, Leetonia, was cited for speeding after his eastbound vehicle on Salem Unity Road was observed traveling in excess of the speed limit at 7:12 p.m. Nov. 10.
— Donald Sanor, 72, Homeworth, was cited for speeding after his northbound vehicle on South Pricetown Road was observed traveling in excess of the speed limit at 8:32 a.m. Nov. 9.
— Conner Mayle, 18, Salem, was cited for speeding after his eastbound vehicle on West Western Reserve Road was observed traveling in excess of the speed limit at 8:09 p.m. Nov. 8.
— Garret Governo, 26, New Waterford, was cited for speeding after his westbound vehicle on West South Range Road was observed traveling in excess off the speed limit at 4:19 a.m. Nov. 8.
— Joshua Mitchell, 26, Lowellville, was cited for speeding after his eastbound vehicle on West Western Reserve Road was observed traveling in excess of the speed limit at 12:59 a.m. Nov. 7.
Salem
— Officers responded to the 500 block of East Third Street at 5:57 a.m. Friday for report of suspicious activity. The caller advised she believed someone had dumped something on her front and back porch that smelled like manure. Officers checked the area but did not locate anything.
