The chief spoke to a female who said a tow truck had dropped off a car the previous night to her neighbor’s residence and when it pulled out, the truck hit her mailbox.

— The chief, while on duty responding on Nov. 24 at 10:15 a.m., to the 1800 block of Park Place Avenue where the resident reported that someone had stolen the gate at the end of his driveway.

— An officer conducted a traffic stop in the A1 parking lot on Pennsylvania Avenue on Nov. 25 at 9:09 p.m., on a vehicle for failing to use a turn signal. The driver, Dalton Brewer, 27, (address not provided) was found to have five active suspensions on his license. During inventory of the vehicle, two baggies containing white powder residue were found. In a cigarette pack in Brewer’s pocket, officers found another bag with white powder residue, a straw with residue, a pair of tweezers and a credit card with Brewer’s name on it. Brewer was taken to the police department for processing and then released with two court summons and a traffic citation. The vehicle was towed by First Class Towing.
