Lisbon
— Police were called at 3:50 a.m. Sunday to the 300 block of East Washington Street for a report of a man banging on the door, but could not locate anyone.
— Officers responded at 6:40 p.m. Saturday to the 200 block of East Lincoln Way for a report of a male severely intoxicated, with a lot of noise and commotion in the background and the ambulance asking for police to be there. The man was unable to stand and was combative, but the ambulance crew was able to get him to comply. A Lisbon officer followed the ambulance to St. Clair Township, where a St. Clair Township unit took over and followed the ambulance the rest of the way to East Liverpool City Hospital.
— An officer at 10:46 p.m. Friday assisted a sheriff’s deputy on a traffic stop at state Route 45 and Black Road.
— Frank Caserta II, 48, Alliance, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs after a traffic stop at 10:33 p.m. Friday on West Lincoln Avenue and Beaver Street.
— An unsecured gate was found at the CARTS garage on Jackson Street at 8:12 p.m. Friday, but nothing concerning was found.
— An officer was dispatched at 1:34 p.m. Friday to West Washington Street for a man harassing people and claiming to be with Direct Energy. Dispatch confirmed there were no active permits for the company and he was told he needed to apply for one and agreed to leave.
— A burning complaint was reported at 5:37 p.m. Nov. 23 on High Street. The fire was found almost out and no one home. An officer checked a couple more times but no one answered the door.
— A man was reported stumbling and laying on vehicles at 11:43 a.m. Nov. 23 at Apple Grove apartments. He was found laying down near a car. He declined treatment and said he was just watching the sky. He agreed to stay off of other people’s vehicles and was going back to his apartment.
— A dirt bike was reported being driven with no lights in the area of Sunset Drive at 5:35 p.m. Nov. 21, but was not located.
— K-9 Otis and his handler were dispatched to state Route 11 southbound off of state Route 154 at 11 p.m. Nov. 13 to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a free air sniff of a vehicle in a traffic stop. K-9 Otis alerted to the presence of narcotics. A search of the vehicle located suspected narcotics paraphernalia.
— Police responded at 7:23 p.m. Nov. 12 to Dollar General, Rose Drive, for people needed to be removed. Officer met with all involved parties and provided trespassing notices. The party in question left without further issue.
— A caller at 8:04 p.m. Nov. 8 reported suspicious people looking into vehicles at the Lisbon Laundry. The person was described as wearing a grey hoodie but left before police arrived.
— Officers at 12:57 a.m. Nov. 8 encountered two people in the area of Dickey Drive pushing what appeared to be a janitorial cart. They claimed they had permission from the government center to use the cart as long as they returned it without leaving the property. They had been searching the dumpster for disposed of Halloween candy.
