East Liverpool
— Officers responded to the East Liverpool City Hospital at 5:46 p.m. Oct. 13 in reference to a bomb threat in which emergency room staff reported someone had called and said they were going to push a button to flatten the building, demanding $10,000 to prevent it. The person then called back and said it was just a prank for YouTube. Officers stood by while hospital staff searched the building, which was eventually cleared.
— An officer responded to the 600 block of Oak Street at 5:25 a.m. Oct. 13 where residents reported hearing outside the basement door and seeing a white truck flee the scene. The officer searched the area but was unable to find the vehicle in question. No signs of attempted force entry were found at the home.
— Officers responded to the 600 block of Bradshaw Avenue at 4:53 a.m. Oct. 13 where an individual reported several people had been following and harassing him earlier in the day in which St. Clair Township police were notified. He was advised to go home and not be out at this hour making himself an easy target.
— Officers responded to a 700 block Dresden Avenue business at 8:54 p.m. Oct. 12 in reference to a panic alarm. A cashier said a woman was causing a scene in the parking lot, but had already left the scene. Officers checked the area but were unable to find the person in question.
— Officers responded to the area of Market Street Lofts at 8:19 p.m. Oct. 12 in reference to two men fighting. The men were found arguing on West Fifth Street and both said nothing physical occurred. They were separated for the evening.
— Officers responded to the 200 block of Vernia Street at 7:08 p.m. Oct. 12 where a resident reported a physical altercation with his son, who had already left the home. The resident said he had dropped a protection order against his son, but wanted him arrested for the altercation. He was advised the altercation was mutual combat and to call police if the son returned.
— A Garfield Street resident reported at 4:52 p.m. Oct. 12 that a woman threatened to shoot her during an argument regarding a cell phone and wanted the incident documented.
— Officers responded to the 1700 block of Etruria Street at 5:37 p.m. Oct. 12 in reference to a man in the middle of the street threatening to break out car windows. Officers spoke with the man who said he was upset because he believed his aunt, who lives in the area, has stolen $40 from him and was taking advantage of him. He was advised to leave for the evening.
— Rosyln M. Galloway, 38, no address listed, was arrested on an active warrant out of Columbiana County and cited for failure to control after officers responded to a one-vehicle crash over a hill on the railroad tracks off Mulberry Street at 4:44 p.m. Oct. 12.
— Brandi Raulerson, no age or address listed, was cited for no driver’s license and a turn signal violation following a traffic stop on East Fourth Street at 12:42 p.m. Oct. 12.
— Officers responded to the 300 block of Moore Street at 12:04 p.m. Oct. 12 in reference to someone making suicidal threats of jumping off a bridge. Officers were unable to find anyone in the area.
— The school resource officer at 10:59 a.m. Oct. 12 was advised of a North Elementary student making claims of sexual assault. An investigation was pending.
— Officers responded to the 2000 block of Lisbon Street at 9:57 a.m. Oct. 12 in reference to someone breaking a window at the home. The woman was already gone before officers arrived. The residents were advised to call officers if the woman returned.
— Officers responded to the 200 block of Wilbert Avenue at 7:03 a.m. Oct. 12 in reference to fight and found two people arguing in a parking lot. The two people were arguing about a mechanical issue with one of their vehicles, in which one of the individuals said the other took his keys and ran into her apartment. The other person said she did not have the keys. Both people were separated from each other.
— Officers responded to the 200 block of West Fifth Street at 5:05 a.m. Oct. 12 in reference to a homeless person staying on the patio of a business. Officers found the person had already left the business’ property and he was told not to return to the business.
— Officers responded to the first block of West Ninth Street at 9:56 p.m. Oct. 11 in reference to someone sitting in a chair in the street trying to provoke other people. Officers spoke with the person in question who said he had been in argument with his girlfriend via phone and had smashed a chair, but was not trying to provoke anyone. All the people involved were advised to calm down for the rest of the evening.
— A Harriet Street resident reported at 2:14 p.m. Oct. 11 continuously receiving threats via phone. The resident would not say who the caller was, but wanted it documented.
— A report of possible sexual assault was filed at 12:16 p.m. Oct. 11 in the 100 block of West Sixth Street. The matter was forwarded to children services.
— A College Street resident reported at 9:04 p.m. Oct. 20 a woman arrived at the home, but was not welcome, and became involved in an altercation with someone in the middle of the street, making threats of physical harm.
— Officers responded to the 600 block of St. Clair Avenue at 3:36 p.m. Oct. 20 in reference to an argument and found a verbal dispute between two people, who were advised to separate.
— A North Shadylane resident reported at 10:13 a.m. Oct. 20 someone had put nails in her vehicle’s tire, but the person she accused has been dead for over a year.
— A Etruria Street resident reported at 8:20 a.m. Oct. 20 someone showed at the home at 5 a.m. that morning and staring kicking the fence, causing damage.
— Officers responded to the 500 block of East Fifth Street at 12:43 a.m. Oct. 20 in reference to a suicidal person, who was willingly transported to the hospital.
— Brian W. Curran, 35, no address listed, was charged with domestic violence after officers responded the 1500 block of Globe Street at 7:25 p.m. Oct. 19 where he headbutted a resident during an altercation, causing injury.
— An officer responded to the 200 block of Wilbert Avenue at 5:40 p.m. Oct. 19 in reference to unruly juvenile.
— Officers responded to the 1000 block of Claiborne Street at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 19 where a resident reported she had not been staying at the home the past couple months due to the electric being shut off and that she found the door wife open and the home trashed.
— A West Fifth Street resident reported at 9:31 a.m. Oct. 19 where a resident reported receiving a text message from an unfamiliar number claiming to have revealing photos of her that were shared by a close friend of hers. The message state that her friend was sharing revealing photos of her while her friend was supposedly sexting someone else.
— Officers responded to the 1300 block of Riverview Street at 7:03 a.m. Oct. 19 in reference to a dispute and found contradictory stories about what happened. They were advised how to get a protection order.
— Officers responded to the 1000 block of Ambrose Avenue at 2:58 a.m. Oct. 19 in reference to a possible fight and spoke with two juveniles in the area who said they had stopped by a home to drop off something when the residents started yelling at them. Officers drove the juveniles home and forwarded the incident to the prosecutor’s office.
— Officers responded to the 600 block of St. Clair Avenue at 7:51 p.m. Oct. 18 in reference to screaming in an apartment. Officers found a dispute between the resident and her son, but nothing physical took place.
— An officer responded to the a Bradshaw Avenue business at 7:47 p.m. Oct. 18 in reference to customer caught on tape placing two bottles of alcohol at $19.99 each in his clothing. The officer was able to identify the customer due to a previous incident.
— A Blackmore Street resident reported at 3:06 p.m. Oct. 18 a former tenant had been taking mail from the mailbox.
— Dana L. McGilvary, 40, no address listed, was arrested on an active warrant and charged with criminal trespass after officers assisted the housing department search a 200 block Henry Avenue condemned home at 1:14 p.m. Oct. 18 and found her hiding behind the furnace in the basement. Officers also found several used syringes throughout the home along with drug paraphernalia.
— Officers responded to the 700 block of Avondale Street at 1:42 a.m. Oct. 18 where a woman reported her niece had stolen her phone. She said her phone went missing while at a neighbor’s and when she called the phone, her niece answered. Officers spoke to the niece who denied having the phone. Officers returned at 2:34 a.m. when the niece kicked in the air conditioner and entered the home, trying to fight the resident.
— An Ephriam Street resident reported at 10:13 p.m. Oct. 17 she let her son take her vehicle to the store several hours prior and she believed he went to Salineville to get drunk. She wanted it documented in case something happens to the vehicle.
— James Keys, no age or address listed, was cited for a no turn signal following a traffic stop on St. Clair Avenue at 5:54 p.m. Oct. 17. A K-9 officer indicated to a narcotic odor after Keys was acting nervously, but although Keys was found with a large amount of money, no contraband was found.
— A Parkway Avenue resident reported at 5:28 p.m. Oct. 17 that a woman she knows almost struck her and her son with a vehicle as a threat.
— An officer responded to the 500 block of Hill Boulevard at 11:11 a.m. Oct. 17 where a resident reported a friend was staying in the basement but had been threatening him the past few weeks and he wanted him removed. The officer spoke with the friend who agreed to leave.
— A woman called from a West Sixth Street business at 12:29 a.m. Oct. 17 she had been in a dispute with her boyfriend and he left with her walker, knee rover and medication required after her recent surgery, leaving her stranded. She was advised how to get a protection order.
— Police responded to the 100 block of Thompson Avenue at 3:46 p.m. Oct. 16 where a woman reported her juvenile son had been assaulted by another juvenile during a dispute and wanted it documented.
— A St. Clair Avenue resident reported at 11:28 a.m. Oct. 16 that his wife recently passed away after being in the care of hospice nurses and found his wife’s wedding ring, which had been on the night table next to her bed, missing.
— A St. Clair Avenue resident reported at 10:58 a.m. Oct. 16 that another resident had left her home with his belongings along with her purses, jewelry, court papers and birth certificates, as witnessed by neighbors. She was advised to get a protection order.
— A West Sixth Street resident reported at 9:38 a.m. Oct. 16 someone had stayed with her for a week and took a set of keys when told to leave.
— Police responded to the 1800 block of Anderson Boulevard at 3:10 a.m. Oct. 16 in reference to a disturbance and learned there had been an dispute in which an intoxicated resident had trashed the apartment. The other person involved had already left for the night.
— Randolph G. Gum, 60, no address listed, was charged with criminal trespass after officers responded to the East Liverpool City Hospital at 12:48 a.m. Oct. 16 where he had already been discharged twice, but was refusing to leave the property.
