— Josh Griffin, 30, Damascus, was arrested on an active warrant after officers responded to a reported fight at a 400 block South Broadway Avenue business at 3:21 a.m. Saturday. Everyone involved was found to be intoxicated and were advised to provide written statements at a later time.

— Officers responded to the area of South Lincoln Avenue and Franklin Street at 11:36 p.m. Friday in reference to a water line break. Officers found the break and stood by until the water department arrived.

— Officers responded to the 1300 block of East State Street at 9:48 p.m. Friday where a resident reported finding the front door damaged near the door knob, but that the door was still locked, so it appeared no entry was made.

— Officers responded to the 1300 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 5:02 p.m. Friday in reference to a dispute and found a caregiver attempting to prevent an elderly patient from driving her vehicle. Officers spoke with the elderly woman and she gave up her car keys.

— Officers responded to the 600 block of East Euclid Street at 2:50 p.m. Friday where a resident reported her neighbor’s dog broke through his fence in the back yard and charged her, striking her knee and causing a minor cut. The resident declined medical assistance but wanted the incident documented. The neighbor was advised of the situation.

— Officers responded to the 1600 block of Fairview Avenue at 1:37 p.m. Friday where a resident reported thinking an unknown person had entered her home. Officers checked the home, finding all the windows and doors secure and no one inside.

— Joleen M. Bunner, Leetonia, was cited for assured clear distance ahead following a two-vehicle crash in the 1800 block of East Pershing Street at 12:51 p.m. Friday in which she struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Rachel E. Robinson, Salem, who was stopped for a truck at a business. No injuries were reported.

— Officers responded with the fire department to the 600 block of Jefferson Avenue at 12:14 p.m. Friday in reference to lines down. The lines were found to be a low hanging cable which was cut and removed by the fire department.

— Officers responded to the 100 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 10:23 a.m. Friday to check the well-being of a woman talking about eating roadkill. Officers were unable to find the woman in question.

— Officers assisted the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force take a man into custody in the 100 block of West State Street at 9:40 a.m. Friday and seized $250 as evidence.
