Area residents reminded of e-waster drop off in Lisbon Saturday

LISBON — Area residents are being reminded about the e-waste drop off event happening from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday in the parking lot of the Columbiana County Courthouse at the corner of South Beaver Street and West Washington Street. Sheriff’s Office — A man who wasn’t home reported at 3:42 p.m. Wednesday that he saw on his camera on the outside of his residence a man riding a scooter in his driveway from the road. A deputy checked the property and area, with no contact with anyone. — Trespassing was reported at 6:28 p.m. Tuesday at a Votaw Drive, Lisbon property. A deputy spoke to the person who called and also spoke with the alleged trespasser, warning them to stay off of the property. Court News LISBON — A former Rogers man accused of robbing a resident hosting a garage sale last year pleaded guilty to robbery, a second-degree felony. Lance Bishop, 20, Glasgow Road, Lisbon, who previously lived on Walnut Street, Rogers, entered the plea during a recent hearing in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court, with sentencing set for Sept. 25. Misdemeanors of assault and theft will be dismissed for the incident May 23, 2025 in Rogers at a garage sale hosted by the victim.
